SCHEDULE OF SALARIES FOR TEACHERS,MEMBERS OF THE SUPERVISING STAFFAND OTHERS.
JANUARY 1–AUGUST 31, 1920, INCLUSIVE.

1. ORDERED, That the salaries ofteachers, members of the supervisingstaff, and others in the public schoolsare hereby established for the periodJanuary 1 to August 31, 1920, inclusive,in accordance with the followingschedules and subject to thefollowing restrictions:
1A. ORDERED, That the salariesof teachers, members of the supervisingstaff, and others who receiveannual salaries, which have beenfixed by Order 1A of the salary schedulefor the year ending August 31,1919, shall, during the period January1 to August 31, 1920, inclusive, be fixedand advanced in accordance with theprovisions of said order; provided, thatthe salaries of such persons in thoseranks in which the minimum andmaximum salaries in the followingschedules have been increased overthe minimum and maximum providedin the existing schedules by the sameamount, be advanced by said amounton January 1, 1920, and the salariesof such persons shall thereafter beadvanced on their several anniversariesby the annual incrementprovided in the following schedules;and provided further, that the finalincrement shall be such amount asshall place the teacher on the maximumsalary of the rank.
1B. ORDERED, That the salariesof teachers, members of the supervisingstaff, and others who receiveannual salaries, which have beenfixed by Order 1A of the salaryschedule for the year endingAugust 31, 1919, shall, during theperiod January 1 to August 31, 1920,inclusive, be fixed and advanced inaccordance with the provisions ofsaid order; provided, that the salariesof such persons in those ranks inwhich the minimum and maximumsalaries have been increased overthe minimum and maximum providedin the existing schedules by unequalamounts, shall be advanced in thefollowing manner:
(a) The salaries of those teachers,members of the supervising staff,and others who have not reached themaximum salary of the existingschedule or who have not served oneyear on said maximum salary, shall,on January 1, 1920, be advanced bythe amount of the increase in the minimumof their respective schedulesover the minimum of the existingschedules; and the salaries of suchpersons shall thereafter be advancedupon their respective anniversaries bythe annual increment provided in thefollowing schedules until the newmaximum of their ranks is reached;provided, that the final incrementshall be such amount as shall placethe teacher upon the maximum salaryof the rank.
(b) The salaries of those teachers,members of the supervising staff,and others who on December 31, 1919,have reached the maximum salaryof the existing schedules, and whohave served one full year thereon,shall on January 1, 1920, be advancedby the amount of the increase in themaximum of the following scheduleover the maximum of the existingschedule.
1C. ORDERED, That the salariesof masters of day elementary andday intermediate schools which havebeen fixed by Order 1B of the existingsalary schedule shall, duringthe period January 1 to August 31,1920, inclusive, be fixed and advancedin accordance with the provisions ofsaid order; provided, that
