Introduction
How many of our boys, in times past, whileglancing through the morning paper have read thefollowing statement: "The United States Marineshave landed and have the situation well in hand." Thecable message may have come at any date, andfrom any part of the world. If those words causedany comment on the part of the young American, itwas probably a mild wonder as to just who themarines were. Sometimes he may have asked hisfather for enlightenment, and the parent, being nobetter informed than the son but feeling a reply wasnecessary, would say in an off-hand manner, "Oh,they are just a lot of sailors from one of ourbattleships, that's all," and there the subject rested.
It is the author's desire in this volume to explainjust who the marines are, what they do, where theygo, so as to make every red-blooded American boyfamiliar with the services rendered by the UnitedStates Marine BU KİTABI OKUMAK İÇİN ÜYE OLUN VEYA GİRİŞ YAPIN!
