The top entry is the earliestsurviving record of the custom. The recipient in thefirst case is Richard Wright; in the second, Thomasle Fuller.
TWO BACON RECEIPTS.—TheParsleys and Reynoldses receivedtheir Bacon in 1701, the Shakeshaftsin 1751. This 1751 presentation wasthe last legitimate ceremony.
