With the progress of knowledge the needs of thehuman body have not been forgotten. During the lastdecade much time has been given by scientists to thestudy of foods and their dietetic value, and it is asubject which rightfully should demand much considerationfrom all. I certainly feel that the time isnot far distant when a knowledge of the principles ofdiet will be an essential part of one’s education. Thenmankind will eat to live, will be able to do bettermental and physical work, and disease will be lessfrequent.
