For a quarter of a century the firm-nameof Lee and Shepard has beenfamiliar to the public. During thisinterval of time it has been printedupon millions of volumes, which havegone forth on their two-fold missionof instruction and entertainment.Few publishing houses in America haveachieved a more honorable record, orhave more indelibly left their impress ofgood intentions and of deeds noblydone upon the minds of increasinggenerations.
